curated secondhand clothing bundle

for NICOLLETTE

If you’ll remember, I assembled a seasonal bundle for Nicollette earlier this year. That bundle was described as “polished granola with feminine accents” – muted tones with soft and breezy fabrics. This time around, we’re switching things up! Nicollette is headed to a music festival this summer and is looking for a mini bundle in the same direction of her spring bundle, but with a little more flair/funk. Some ideas she had in mind were high-waisted vintage denim shorts, a nature-inspired graphic tee, a fun maxi dress, or a lightweight pair of wide-leg pants with a fun print. She also mentioned she’s open to some fun accessories, too.

Based on her preferences and the vibe of the music festival itself that includes artists like Hozier, Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves, and Modest Mouse, here’s what I put together for Nicollette!

Free People Lennon Floral Ruffle Trim Button-Up Dress

While still maintaining that soft, flowy, natural look, we’re gettin’ funky with this gorgeous Free People maxi dress! There’s so much to love about this dress from the color palette, print, ruffle trim, and stunning accent bow. It’s so beautiful, and I think it’ll be lightweight and comfortable enough to wear to a music festival.

Tiered paisley Bandana maxi skirt

Of all the tiered maxi skirts I’ve found at thrift stores, this is by far the most special one. It moves beautifully, the quality is wonderful, and the print is stunning. I couldn’t think of a more perfect skirt for an outdoor music festival with some country, folk, and alt-rock artists!

Abercrombie & Fitch Cheetah Print Wide Leg pants

To accommodate the request of a pair of lightweight wide-leg pants with a fun print, I scooped up these super cute and comfy Abercrombie & Fitch cheetah print pants. One feature of these pants that I love is the tie front belt. Often times when pants have a matching belt, it’s detachable, thin, and honestly kind of worthless. The “belt” on these pants is built in, in the sense that there are two ends sewn in to the sides of the pants, and it’s thick, creating a really pretty statement bow when tied up.

Black cutoff sleeve tee

Of all the stores I visited and racks I sifted through, nature-inspired graphic tees were in short supply (or at least ones that weren’t stained or super cheeseball) so I opted for this black tee shirt with cutoff sleeves to give Nicollette that edge she was looking for while giving her something that will pair well with both the tiered skirt and cheetah print pants.

bandana & belt

I’ve included a simple white bandana that I think would be perfect with the black tee and tiered skirt, and a brown boho No Boundaries studded belt that would pair well with the Free People dress if she wanted a little cinching.
