curated secondhand clothing bundle
for ashley
This is my second bundle for Ashley (here’s a look at her first) and as excited as I was about her first bundle, I’m even more excited about this one! Like her first bundle, this one features a palette of neutrals and earth tones, a good mix of textures, and a focus on natural fabrics like cotton, linen, and cashmere.
What’s different about this bundle is its versatility. It’s designed to carry Ashley through summer and into autumn, with lightweight, breathable pieces perfect for a Tennessee summer, along with a few layerable items she can transition into fall and even winter. Overall, my goal is to give Ashley great pieces to wear this summer while also providing a solid foundation of go-to staples we can build on throughout the year.
Here’s a look at a few of her inspo photos:

Ashley’s Summer Bundle
Black Linen Dress
A true Hann-Me-Down! This dress was such an exciting find and it has been so perfect to wear in the summer – it’s lightweight, it has pockets, it’s just the perfect black dress in my opinion. The length is terrible on me (as most midi dresses are) so as soon as I saw what was on Ashley’s Pinterest board, I thought of including this dress and letting it have a new home with her.
Old Navy Thermal Knit Cropped Henley Tank Top
Ashley looks so beautiful in rich colors, so this chocolate brown henley tank was a no brainer. It’ll be a great layering piece or a cool casual top to throw on with a pair of wide-leg pants and sandals this summer.
Leslie Ann Fashions Mockneck Tank Top
Within Ashley’s Pinterest board, I noticed a lot of great textures and shapes, and this vintage tank had both. The neckline is almost boatneck, almost a mockneck, and and texture is a little crepey without the fabric being thin. Very unique!
Houndstooth Cashmere Tank Top
A second Hann-Me-Down! This cashmere houndstooth tank top is fantastic – very soft and rich in color. It just looks and feels expensive and I think it would look fantastic on Ashley.
Grey Banana Republic Sleeveless Turtleneck
I noticed some layering throughout Ashley’s Pinterest board of inspo photos, so I wanted to include this grey sleeveless tank top that she could most certainly wear on its own this summer, and then layer under a crewneck sweater in the fall.
Zara Cropped Textured Blouse
More textured tops! I think this would be cute over a swimwuit, worn as a casual yet sexy going out top with a fun pair of pants, worn over a dress – so much versatility.
Royal Blue Philosophy Knit Top
With such a neutral color palette, this is the most daring piece, but the color is still very rich, which will look so lovely on Ashley, and features a really nice waffle knit and a subtle ruffle sleeve for a little touch of femininity.
Loft Checkered Button Down Blouse
Tennessee summers are hot and this top is light and airy enough to keep her comfortable in what I can only assume is an inevitable heatwave.
Madewell Grey Striped Button Down
Like the Loft checkered button down, this Madewell button down is also light and flowy, but the material is a little softer to the touch.
Quince Cashmere Top
I envision this Quince cashmere top worn to an office, providing a little formality and warmth for any conference rooms blasting air conditioning. This is certainly a piece I see being carried from summer to autumn.
Mustard Seed Cropped Button Down
Again, with a neutral color palette, there needs to be some texture. Like the Zara short-sleeved button down, this top is a little crepey in texture without being too delicately thin. It’s perfectly breathable for a warmer day.
Black Harve Benard Linen Button Down
Harve Benard is known for its quality craftsmanship and you can feel that in this button down. I think there’s so much value and versatility in owning a good linen button down, so I’m thrilled to have found this for Ashley’s bundle.
Dusty Sage J.Crew Shorts
Have you ever sifted through a rack of shorts at a thrift store? It’s a lot of duds – hacked up denim shorts or short shorts with a loud print or embellishment. These J.Crew dusty sage shorts, however, will be a great addition to Ashley’s wardrobe. Neutral in color (but still a fun color) with a utilitarian style and actual pockets that most women’s pants/shorts unfortunately lack.
Black Old Navy Shorts
Like the J.Crew shorts, these Old Navy shorts are a modest, comfortable length with functional pockets and a matching tie belt that be removed and replaced, if desired.
Vintage Jadyn T Floral Skirt
At my usual thrift spots, midi and maxi skirts that aren’t made of some kind of awful jersey material with a weird print are hard to come by, but when I spotted this floral skirt, I knew I had to add it to Ashley’s bundle. The print isn’t obnoxious and the color palette is perfectly neutral.
Levi's Mile High Cropped Wide Leg Jeans
I’ve gotta be honest, I secretly hoped these jeans fit me when I found them so I could add them to my wardrobe. They’re PERFECT. The rise, the back pockets, the wide leg, it’s a chef’s kiss across the board. I really hope Ashley will love them just as much and they become her new go-to jeans.
A New Day High Rise Wide Leg Stretch Crop Pants
Two colors, one style! Ashley and I discussed the length and and leg width of pants and pairing them with specific pairs of shoes like slide-on mules/loafers and I identified that a wider leg would allow for more versatility in shoes without feeling like there’s so much awkward attention on the exposed lower calf/ankle area that a cropped straight or slim fit pair of pants can often highlight. Thrilled to have found so many great wide leg pairs of pants for her!
Banana Republic Striped Wide Leg Pants
I could just tell when I saw the leg of these pants on the rack that these were going to be some special pants. They’re a great cotton blend, super soft and comfortable, and the small stripes give it a bit of a buttoned up feel that could allow her to wear these to the office with ease.
Zara Marine Straight Jeans
Here it is, folks. The almighty Zara Marine Straight Jeans. If I could include a pair of these in every client’s bundle, I would. I cannot express how much I love these jeans (I have three pairs myself) and I firmly believe if you are in need of a flattering wide-leg pair of jeans, these will be your new favorites.
Gap Linen Blend Pants
On Ashley’s Pinterest board, the fabrics all looked very soft and comfy, so amongst all the jeans I found for Ashley, I wanted to include a pair of very casual, soft, flowy pants that Ashley could wear around the house or throw on and pair with a tee shirt and pair of sandals to go grab a cup of coffee.
Red Woven Leather Slip On Shoes
Although Ashley’s bundle is overall very neutral, I’m very excited to include this fun pair of vintage red woven loafers in excellent condition to add a special pop of color to any outfit.
Sam Edelman White Woven Leather Flats
Interestingly, I found a second pair of woven flats for Ashley! These are particularly beautiful because they have a pointed toe, which will elongate Ashley in any outfit she puts together with these shoes. They also had the original price stickers attached, revealing these unworn Sam Edelman flats were $170 at Nordstrom!
Brown Apostrophe Marcy Boots
Even if these boots don’t get worn until autumn, I thought they were an exceptional investment piece to add to Ashley’s bundle. The leather is very soft and the metal hardware is very sturdy and beautiful.
Wild Fable Hayley Slip On Shoes
Ashley Pinned a pair of sandals very similar to these, so it was already a no brainer to pick up, and these had the original tags attached, which made it even better!
